    Tonia Johnson, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, CNOR
    Tonia is an expert in perioperative nursing with over 25 years of experience. She is dedicated to preparing operating room nurses to sit for the CNOR, CPAN, and CAPA Exams. Her experience comes from a variety of roles including clinical manager, clinical nurse specialist, charge nurse, and education coordinator. Currently she is the Clinical Nurse Specialist at a major Level One Trauma Center in Washington, D.C. In her role, she acts as a consultant for Regulatory Readiness, Patient Safety, Practice Standards, and Policies to the Main and Ambulatory Operating Rooms, Pre-op and PACU, Gastrointestinal, Interventional Radiology and Acute Pain Service. As a speaker for Nurse Builders, Tonia uses her passion for education and professional development when creating perioperative certification review courses and nursing continuing education modules for the O.R. She shares her expertise and passion for OR nursing in her courses while providing a thorough review of the content.
