    Dr. Melissa Cole is both a clinician and an educator with over 37 years as a registered nurse and an adult geriatric nurse practitioner for over 9 years. Throughout her career, she has worked in labor and delivery, high-risk obstetrics, pediatrics, emergency room, surgery, telemetry, diabetes management, public health, hospice and home health care. Her current passion and expertise are in caring for the elderly and disabled populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, specifically those suffering from health inequities and social determinants of health.
